A small octavo. An interesting book, obviously written by a professional chef/cook, who warns the reader in the preface to follow the recipes implicitly. The preface dated at Brighton 1824. Oxford states that the frotis is drawn by the author and also a couple of the plates. One of the first cookery books to give cooking times. Not in Cagle.
